ASL Links:

Below are links to various websites that can help you learn more about using American Sign Language with your child.  Some websites contain articles, some contain examples of signs, and others are interactive websites to help children learn sign.  Enjoy looking around!

*NEW* Signs to Start With

WeeHands created this great Starting Signs sheet. you can download this sheet and print it out to hang up near the highchair, changing table...wherever you need some reminders on how to make certain signs!  Opens with Adobe Acrobat.

ASL Browser:

This website is through Michigan State University.  It is a GREAT resource to learn signs.  Simple click on the first letter of the word you are looking for.  Scroll down until you find the word and click on it.  A video will then appear showing you how to do the sign, in addition to a description of what your hands should be doing.

Sign2Me.com

This is the program that sprung from Joseph Garcia's Sign with your Baby and the program that I use in my classes and workshops.  This site lists childcare centers that are using Sign, Presenters in you area, and sells various signing products.  I am a certified Presenter with Sign2Me.

Signing Time:

This company offers several great DVD's that are incredibly engaging and you can learn TONS of signs. My children (and I!) love theses DVD's.

PBS Kids-Arthur Sign Design

At this PBS Kids activity site, Arthur will help you learn some basic signs and how to fingerspell the alphabet.

Sign with Sam

This adorable website is a great resource, with interactive activities, flashcards, and pintables that your little ones can color in.  Definitely check it out!
